What is Erasmus+?
Erasmus+ is an EU grant programme implemented between 2021 and 2027, covering the fields of education, youth, and sports. The Erasmus+ Programme aims to equip individuals—regardless of age or educational background—with new skills, strengthen their personal development, and enhance their employment opportunities. The total budget allocated for the Erasmus+ Programme across Europe for the 2021–2027 period is 28.4 billion euros. The grant supports previously provided within the scope of the Lifelong Learning Programme—implemented by the European Commission between 2007 and 2013 and concluded in 2014—continue under the Erasmus+ Programme for the 2021–2027 period in the field of higher education.
The application and evaluation processes for student Learning Mobility and Traineeship Mobility, as well as Staff Training and Teaching Mobility, are carried out by the Exchange Programs Commission and the International Relations Office. Eligible participants are required to submit all documents requested by the International Relations Office before and after the mobility period.
